Henri SANDOZ — Doctor of Science, Academic, Botanist and Ecologist President of the Scientific Committee of the Marcel Kroënlein High-Altitude Arboretum in Roure will welcome visitors and introduce them to the Arboretum, located at the crossroads of several climatic and biological zones. He will also present the “Dendrochronoscope,” a structure designed to correlate the annual growth rings of an age-old tree trunk with major historical events (here, a larch trunk nearly two centuries old!), thus creating a truly original educational tool for knowledge and discovery.
